Travel Health Service

If you are travelling outside the UK, you should check that you are up to date with all routine vaccinations including Tetanus and MMR.
You may also need extra travel vaccinations.
We only provide travel vaccinations that are available on the NHS and free of charge. They are:

• Polio (given as combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio jab)
• Typhoid
• Hepatitis A
• Hepatitis B (in some circumstances)
• Cholera

All other vaccines required for your travels will need to be arranged and paid for with a private travel clinic.

To check which vaccinations you might need and to allow sufficient time for them to become effective please ensure you contact us at least 12 weeks prior to your journey and complete a separate Travel Questionnaire for each person travelling.
